Your First Visit

Our primary goal is to help give you the healthy, straight and beautiful smile you’ve always wanted. We understand that choosing to receive orthodontic care is a big decision.

Our practice will work with you every step of the way to make sure your orthodontic care is as comfortable, convenient and rewarding as possible. We implement the latest technology and offer a variety of safe and gentle treatment options to give you the customized, individual care that you deserve.

Every smile starts with a complimentary consultation!

Your complimentary consultation will give you the opportunity to meet our team and learn more about orthodontics. You will receive a complete initial exam and discover which treatment options will best meet your needs. During your complimentary consultation, Dr. Arazie will:

  • Review your dental and medical history forms
  • Perform a complete oral exam, including X-rays, to determine if treatment is necessary
  • Help you create a customized treatment plan
  • Discuss all financial information, insurance options and payment plans

During your complimentary consultation, we will explain everything you will need to know about your orthodontic treatment so you may choose which option is best for you. If you would like to schedule a complimentary consultation with Dr. Arazie, please call (843) 669-3030.

What happens after the initial consultation?

If you choose to receive orthodontic treatment, you will need to schedule your first appointment. During that appointment, Dr. Arazie will place your new orthodontic appliance. Typically, this appointment lasts approximately one hour and then you will be on your way toward your new smile!

Scheduling Appointments

Visiting our office every 4 to 8 weeks is an essential part of your orthodontic treatment. Regular checkups last between 20 and 40 minutes.

Our practice will work with you to ensure your appointments are scheduled around your busy schedule so you can spend less time in the dental chair and more time enjoying the things you love to do. We understand that “life happens,” so if you are running late or need to reschedule, please let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.

Visiting the dentist during orthodontic treatment

It is vital that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups, even during your orthodontic treatment. If extra dental care is needed, we will be happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure you receive the best possible care.

Payment and Office Policies

Fees

In an effort to keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established this financial policy:

  • If full payment is made at the onset of treatment, we will offer a fee reduction.
  • We accept CareCredit and Lending Club patient financing.
  • To fit your individual needs, financial arrangements can be made to extend your payments over a period of months.
  • For your convenience, we accept payment by Visa and MasterCard.
  • In cases of serious delinquency, treatment will be discontinued, although we make every effort to accommodate patients with temporary difficulties.

Insurance

If you have insurance, we will help you to determine the coverage you have available. We ask that you assign your insurance benefit to us. The balance will be arranged for you to pay.

Professional care is provided to you, our patient, and not to an insurance company. Therefore, the insurance company is responsible to the patient and the patient is responsible to the doctor. We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.
